Lately at Rocky Mountain Properties we've been hearing that some realtors are focusing more on Web marketing these days. But we have plenty of stories from print advertisers who have successfully marketed sold their listings through ads in our print magazine Rocky Mountain Properties.
A multimedia approach is necessary especially in the specialized rural, country and farm/ranch markets. Most buyers, and especially baby boomers hitting the market, grew up reading newspapers and magazines. Of course most are connected to the internet, but we believe the majority go back and forth between print and online.
Sellers read print publications. Our Rocky Mountain Properties print edition is mass distributed throughout the towns/regions where sellers LIVE and work. Advertising is about branding, and print plays a key role in branding a realtors image in local communities. The combination of print and web is key to marketing individual websites lost in search engines as well as promoting a company and realtor's images.
Many realtors say that buyers when asked, have often have FIRST seen their listings in our print real estate guide, especially tourists visiting areas where our magazine can be picked up at stores, hotels. visitor centers, real estate offices and more. Often sellers even BEFORE visiting local real estate offices, have already picked up a copy of our magazine.
